Islamabad:
An alliance of the opposition parties has announced the organization of a “big conference” to remedy the problem of terrorism, which has raised its ugly head with an increasing frequency in the provinces of Balutchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in recent months.
On Friday, the leaders of the TEHREEK TAHAFFUZ-E-EIN-E-PAKISTAN approached a press conference in Islamabad calling for an evolution of the national consensus on the issue of terrorism.
Speaking on occasion, the head of the Alliance, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, said that the government trained on the basis of a rigged election was unable to address the crisis. “As the head of the opposition alliance, I urge people at the helm to resign. It is necessary to hold a conference of all stakeholders,” he said.
He said that the “faked elections” in February 2024 and that the government was based on the current situation. “The only remedy for the crisis is an APC [all parties conference]. “”
Lawyer Gohar Ali Khan, the nominal PTI chief, condemned the marsh -up of Jaffar Express by terrorists on March 11, adding that the security forces have avoided another APS attack as a tragedy by taking rapid measures for the rescue of the hostages.
He deplored that the PTI was criticized on its presumed position on the just attack on the basis of certain shaded publications on social networks.
SIC chief Hamid Raza said there was anarchy in the country within 24 hours of the attack. He asked who was responsible for this anarchy. “Was it the Minister of Defense [Khawaja Asif] Or someone else? “He asked.
He said that dialogue was the only way out and that the opposition had therefore decided to organize a “big conference”. He said the opposition wanted to ensure the country’s territorial integrity and want to see it progress. “It is also the wish of [PTI founder] Imran Khan, “he added.
PTI chief Asad Qaiser said that Jaffar Express incident was a security time. “If you had moral courage, you would accept this fact,” he added.
