This week was a roller coaster in the world of technology. Twitter has closed thanks to its greatest breakdown for years, all giving us a moment of peace, Google has unveiled the robots infused with Gemini, which looks like a robot revolution, and we tested the new Apple MacBook and iPad Air.
To make up for all this and more, scroll down for our in case you have missed it and catch up with the seven largest technological news of the week.
Once you have caught up the news of the week, consult our choices for the 7 new films and television programs to broadcast this weekend (March 14).
X has had its greatest breakdown in years
The social media giant, formerly known as Twitter, had a few tumultuous years – but even in relation to the takeover of Elon Musk in 2022, this week was turbulent. X was taken completely offline several times on Monday, Musk later claiming that it was due to a “massive cyber attack”.
Since X is attacked “every day”, according to Musk, this huge breakdown was explained by the culprit having “a lot of resources”. Cue a little inevitable political score and many people discover what DDOS represents (spoiler for your quiz on anecdotes, it is the “denial of distributed service”). X is back to his old self now with her mixture of memes and indignation, but it may not take long before his next big breakdown.
We have seen the new generation television technology from Sony in action

OLED is generally considered to be the most efficient television technology, and for a good reason, because OLED televisions offer perfectly uniform images with an “infinite” contrast and a rich color. The primacy of OLED is especially indisputable, but a new LED RVB backlight technology for televisions that Sony has just announced could finally make the mini-mini televisions competitive.
Sony’s “new generation display system” replaces the quantum points layer used for high-end mini-LED televisions with a “high density led backlight” with individual, green and blue primary and blue control. Its advantages include high light, extended color and OLED -type contrast, and Sony also claims that it can be put on scale up to larger sizes than OLED televisions, which are maximum at 97 inch.
TV manufacturers regularly publish New Tech breast advertisements in development, but in this case, Techradar was invited to Sony’s headquarters for an overview, and it’s just as good as they claim. Watch your back, OLED!
We have examined the new macbooks and iPads

Apple recently launched a new technology and we had the chance to try everything. In short, everything is great.
The iPad Air with M3 has won four and a half stars thanks to its new chipset offering a solid power increase without price bumps. The screen is as dynamic as ever, the battery life and audio are excellent, and thanks to the support of the new magic keyboard, it is more similar to a laptop than ever. Our only reproach is that the new Apple slate is a little too similar to the model of the camera and the display of last year – with another pair of 12MP snappers (one face to each direction) and a missing screen of gentle promotion rates that you will still only have on more premium models.
Regarding the new MacBook broadcast with M4, they have further amazed us because not only do they have excellent performance – helped by the improved chipset they have just received – but they are cheaper to start. Instead of $ 1,299 / £ 1,399 / $ 2199 at, you can recover the laptop for $ 1,199 / £ 1 199 $ 2,099 to this elegant machine as one of the best value laptops for the market.
Irobot has replaced almost all of its Roomba range

This week, we learned that Irobot was deleting almost all of its range of Roomba robot vacuum cleaners and replaced them with four new brilliant models. It is a daring decision, but feels necessary given how far the brand started to slide behind the competitors.
The new features include Lidar navigation (finally), the cushions of mop, a cool design aesthetic and a denomination system that really has a meaning. The most interesting model is perhaps the Roomba 205, which has a dust tray, and looks perfect for those with small houses that have no space for a large quay.
It may not be the most flashy innovations that we have seen recently on the market, but we believe that Irobot has nailed what customers are really looking for in an emptiness of the robot. Hoping that this can help the original Robovac brand to catch up with competition.
New smart radius glasses have disappointed us

Meta launched new Smart Ray -Ban glasses this week – well, he launched a new glasses design, which are available for a limited time in collaboration with the Coperni fashion brand.
They are undeniably elegant with a translucent black frame (which allows you to see their interior operation) and mirror lenses, but beyond the Coperni logo stamped at the end of each arm, there is nothing special in this limited race. What is more not only these specifications are more limited than the previous fall of the Clear frame of Meta – only 3,600 intelligent COPERNI glasses are available instead of 7,500 as before – they are also more expensive.
Meta glasses normally start at $ 299 / £ 299 / $ 449 at, and its last limited drop was $ 429 / £ 429 (it was not available in Australia). These Coperni specifications sell $ 549 / £ 519 / $ 859 in. Some commentators in the original history like design, but for us, it is not enough to justify the media and the cost of the very first intelligent collaboration of Meta and Ray-Ban.
Disney + fact and is free to broadcast on YouTube
To watch
Have you failed to see what is considered the best star wars show ever made? Well, you no longer have to worry about having Fomo because Disney has decided to publish the first three episodes of Andor On YouTube for free.
He also put the first season of one of the best Disney + programs available on Hulu in the United States before the first in the first of the first Andor Season 2 on April 22, giving all the un-Disney + subscribers even more ways to embark on action.
It is an intelligent decision to hang more fans in the series and if you have become one of them (welcome), you will undoubtedly want to take advantage of this excellent streaming case which lowers the Disney + and Hulu price to its impressive price of Black Friday – come and join the rebels!
Google Gemini has just become physical

Google Gemini is one of the most powerful AI platforms, but until this week, it was mainly text, images and did not connect directly to the physical world. This changes with Gemini Robotics and his counterpart, Gemini Robotics-Er (embodied reasoning). Together, these platforms will link the points between the powerful models and robots of Gemini.
The long -term objective is that humanoid robots performing gemini models (many large robot companies, such as Boston Dynamics, are already on board) to help them interact with the real world, and especially unknown situations. Our personal favorite was a pair of robot weapons that quickly understood how to slam a toy basketball without any specific training. The race for our robots revolution is accelerating.
