Decision Aaron Rodgers: QB could retire if he does not offer the Vikings

Aaron Rodgers can choose to withdraw from the NFL if he does not go to a free agency, according to The Athletic.

As the former MVP would have considered the offers of the New York giants and the Pittsburgh steelers, he would prefer to sign with the Vikings of Minnesota, according to the point of sale.

The Vikings have an opening for a veteran quarterly after last year’s starter, Sam Darnold, signed with the Seattle Seahawks. However, Minnesota also has the former national Michigan champion, JJ McCarthy, the team’s choice in the first round in the 2024 draft.

Rodgers, at 41, is not considered a long -term solution for a team.

The famous NFL agent, Leigh Steinberg, who has negotiated contracts for several quarters of the renowned temple, told PK Press Club Digital that he was considering Minnesota as a “positive adjustment” for Rodgers at this stage of his career, in particular because of the presence of McCarthy as potential protégé and the team which was sentenced in the short term.

“So, you must have a situation where, because Armon at best may play another year, may perhaps play another two years, but it is not a permanent solution, so it’s a correction of one or two years,” said Steinberg. “So he could go to a team that is really good but just needed this last little piece to put them above, and he could supervise a younger quarter.”

Brett Favre implores Aaron Rodgers to sign with a specific team: “Good place to win”

Steinberg also thinks that a team without having a chance to win in the short term without a young quarterly on his list would not be so good. The giants are a team that corresponds to this mold. The Steelers may have had a victory record last season, but are not a shoo-in to be good this year. They also have no young quarter of the project.

“A team that is really dissatisfied with their quarter-arre which is taking it would not be as positive for a solution,” said Steinberg.

If Rodgers ends up obtaining an offer from the Vikings and signing with them, he would follow a career path almost identical to that of his predecessor of Green Bay Packer, Brett Favre. Like Favre, Rodgers played the vast majority of his career with packers, winning a super bowl before being exchanged at the New York Jets. Favre then spent her last two years on the Vikings.

Favre gave advice to Rodgers and encouraged him to sign with the Vikings during an interview on “The Will Cain Show” by PK Press Club Channel on Tuesday.

“By all means, sign with them,” said Favre. “They got a very good football team. They are busy almost all areas. They succeeded in the playoffs last year. They got a great fans base, a bit like packers. If you have the opportunity, it’s a good place to win.

“Of course, you have to play the packers then.”
