- Eizo Flexscan FLT is the very first instructor with a European class A classification
- The 95% recycled plastic box ensures a reduction in the conservation of waste and resources
- USB Type-C allows a single cable for power supply, video and data transmission
Eizo has unveiled what can be the most energy -efficient portable monitor, the 23.6 inch monitor, 1080p, Eizo Flexscan FLT.
With its monitor consuming only 6 W of electricity (less than that used by an average bulb), and in housing built from 95%recycled plastic, Eizo went further in the promotion of sustainability and obtained a European classification of European energy brand A.
At 2.4 kg, it is one of the largest portable monitors available, and the design without frame, supplied by a USB connection of type C, eliminates the need for bulky AC adapters.
A new era of energy conservation?
Using a unique solution for video, data transmission and power, the FlexScan FLT offers up to 60 watts of power to connected devices.
It is delivered with Eizo advanced Ecoview technologies for ultralotive energy consumption. While the Ecoview automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen as a function of the surrounding lighting, the Ecoview Optimizer 2 affects the brightness according to the type of content displayed.
It is also delivered with a new Eco mode which automatically presets EcoView features and users can display the display information on an edge of the screen for quick access.
The FLT is designed to complete hybrid work, thanks to a frameless design. The monitor has a hollow telescope, while relatively light construction can be mounted on a single arm for a minimalist configuration.
The monitor packaging reflects an ethics of the eco-conscient, using recycled materials and optimizing size to reduce greenhouse gas emissions during transport up to 42%. The device also obtained some of the main environmental certifications available, including TCO Certified Generation 10, Epeat Gold and Epeat Climate +.
The company says that by making a 32% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to previous models, it establishes a new standard for responsible innovation.
