McILroy and Spaun are both at 12 under their last laps on Sunday – a long day that saw a four -hour rain delay.
The round was forced to be delayed due to the weather and lightning in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, which was planned since the tournament increased times to avoid a potential extension of Monday.
However, it was inevitable with the extent of the delay – 1:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. – and how golfers ended up ending their last laps.

For McILroy, he was the first to finish his 18 holes, and he hoped that a 74 -foot miracle putt would lead to his last hole. He had the right speed, but he missed it well on the left and finally cleaned to finish with a 4-mine of 68 to put it in the position to win the tournament.
McILroy went to sign his dashboard while looking closely at what Spaun did in the group behind him.
SPAUN entered this last round on Sunday in the hope of publishing another round of the subparameters, but he had a hard time starting despite the fact that 12 under his name at his time.
It started day 2 before holeing 9 to display a 37 on the nine front holes. But he bogey on the 12th, forcing this 2 on the dashboard before finally seeing golf strokes move.

Spaun could Birdie Holes 14 and 16 to finally return to 12 sous the tournament, heading for the emblematic TPC Sawgrass Island Green on the 17th. His TEE shot, however, was struck conservative in the middle of the green instead of looking for the placement of the extreme right punishment on Sunday.
Spaun would be two shots and would get his peer, understand that his fate could be sealed in one way or another on the hole 18.
While McILroy was watching from the clubhouse, the last blow of the day of Spaun made its way in the straw on the right side of the fairway, just there after trying to hold the crude.
However, despite the sliding of the grass, Spaun was able to hit a nice approach to give itself a good overview of a birdie at 20 feet and more.

With a peer of noise, the playoffs were scheduled for Monday, and it will be the holes 16, 17 and 18 to determine the winner of the players of this year.
He is a David against Goliath in terms of PGA Tour careers, because McILroy has 27 victories on tour in Spaun’s One.
