The main organizations supporting the Blockchain Arbitrum, the Offchain Laboratories and the Arbitrum Foundation, have unveiled a new program designed to launch projects starting in the ecosystem.
The new program, “Onchain Labs”, is designed to provide a marketing support for “experimental and volatile” projects, according to an Offchain Labs blog article, the main developer of Arbitrum.
“Thanks to Onchain Labs, we dedicate resources to support developers who seek to quickly extend the application layer by ideant with them from the ground floor to provide the best user experiences to Arbitrum,” said the blog post. “As we do with many arbitrum teams, we will provide products and [go-to-market] Support for these projects in the start -up phase, collaborating closely to help their applications to prosper on the arbitrum. »»
Arbitrum Foundation is a non -profit organization which, according to regimes, the governance of the arbitrum ecosystem. Offchain Labs, who created the blockchain in 2021, focuses on developer tools and central network infrastructure.
Offchain Labs is launching its new initiative as a means of stimulating greater activity and interest in the wider arbitrum ecosystem. According to the company’s blog post, ONCHAIN Labs’ first projects will soon emerge from stealth. Offchain Labs said that the only projects supported by its new program will be those which “explicitly commit to fair and fair launches” – which probably means that they avoid launching launch and other mechanisms that preferred initiates.
Offchain Labs declared in his blog article that the selection criteria are intended to avoid “extractive ecosystems” and “zero -sum games”. Tandem, offchain labs’ venture capital arms, “may or may not buy associated tokens on public procurement,” added the company.
Arbitrum is an optimistic Rollup network of layer 2 on Ethereum. Like the other rolls, the chain is designed to treat transactions faster and at a lower cost than the main Ethereum blockchain. Several new block channels are built on the technical framework of arbitrum, forming a network of interconnected blockchains called “orbit” arbitrum.
Arbitrum is currently the largest layer of layer 2 in Ethereum, with around 12.2 billion dollars on its main “Arbitrum One” channel, according to L2Beat.
