The restrictions apply in several occupied places such as Teen Talwar, Tariq Road and Hyderi Market. Commuters are encouraged to use alternative routes like Clifton Bridge, Race Race and Khaliq Uz Zaman Road.
In addition, vehicles will be limited on the roads connecting Saddar, Fawara Chowk, GPO, singer Chowk, rue Zaibunnisa and Jama fabric in Eidgah Chowk.
In addition, traffic from the Millennium area will be redirected by the Millennium Pont to Nipa, while commercial vehicles will be diverted to ship owners and Landi Kotal Chowrangi.
The new traffic guidelines are part of a greater effort from the traffic police to manage the planned thrust of buyers and vehicles before the holidays.
