Pakistan firmly condemned the recent fatal air strikes of Israel on Gaza, which led to the death of more than 400 innocent Palestinians, mainly women and children. The air strikes broke relative weeks of calm after talks of ceasefire in standby.
Foreign Office (FO) condemned air strike, describing it as a “horrible act of aggression” during the sacred month of Ramadan. The FO pointed out that it was a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement, which could destabilize the whole region.
FO called the international community to intervene and end violence, urging the resumption of diplomatic efforts for immediate and lasting peace in Gaza and the Middle East.
According to witnesses, the air strikes targeted the houses and the tent camps across Gaza, from the north to the southern regions. Israeli tanks also dissected Gaza on the other side of the border. The Gaza Ministry of Health has confirmed the toll, declaring that 404 people had been killed, marking one of the stupid people in a highest day since the war.
The truce between Israel and Hamas had been held since January, offering an essential respite to the 2 million residents of Gaza. However, Israel and Hamas have accused each other of having violated the ceasefire, increasing more violence.
