The United States national male team has a chance to make noise in the World Cup next year while it was on their soil at home.
The team reached the final of 16 for the third time in its last four World Cups (they did not qualify in 2018), and they will play as one of the three host countries in less than 18 months.
The United States, Canada and Mexico will organize the final at the Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the Maison des Giants and Jets de New York.

After finishing in third place in the inaugural World Cup in 1930, the furthest that the United States has disappeared since then, it has been the quarter-finals, a tour not reached since 2002.
The United States disappointed by COPA America last summer, having failed to get out of the group phase while organizing the tournament.
But the director of football in the United States, Mauricio Pochettino, recently said that there could be a secret sauce next year: President Donald Trump.
In an interview PK Press ClubPochettino said Trump could play a role in the fate of the USMNT.
“I’m going to say yes. If he asks myself, I say yes. President, with your help, with the fans behind [us] Inheriting the World Cup, anything is possible, “said Pocsettino.

Pochettino recently noted the additional pressure on his team to have the host.
“I think that the pressure will be there, because we are a host. And then it’s a country where the mentality is to win. You know, in sport, in all what the Americans are involved, they want to win,” he said, via the mirror. “It’s culture. It’s cultural. Of course, it will be pressure, but welcome. It means that we will feel the adrenaline that we must feel.”
He is sure to assume that Trump will appear during the World Cup, which will extend about a month with matches in 11 stadiums from the NFL; Nine stadiums welcomed in 1994, where the president of the time, Bill Clinton, officially opened the tournament.
Trump was spotted at major sporting events since it was in office, including the Super Bowl Lix in New Orleans and Daytona 500 on Sunday consecutive on Sunday.
He often attended the UFC events, his last being at Madison Square Garden the week after winning the elections. Trump will also be at the NCAA division I fight championships in Philadelphia this week, and he attended the Navy Army match in December.
