After our first spots in CES in January and the prices and availability announcements in the United States and the United Kingdom, LG finally withdrew the wraps from its range of Australian television 2025, with Nanocell, Qned and, of course, the OLED screens all compete for your attention. And, with prices starting at $ 749 in and increasing up to $ 39,999 at the 97 -inch OLED mammoth, there is really a screen for each Australian house.
OLED continues to shine
Naturally, a large part of the emphasis is placed on LG OLED televisions, which this year include B5, C5 and G5, as well as the above wireless M5 OLED TV. For real high rollers, LG also confirmed that its transparent TV sigantature will arrive on the Australian coasts in the second half of 2025.
The good news for LG OLED fans? The launch prices remained the same as the previous generation. The best news? The G5 OLED lighthouse delivers notable improvements in image quality compared to the five -star G4, thanks to a new OLED “Four Stack” panel. My colleagues have already written on the improvements that this panel brings, but just to add my two hundred, I could see the G5 side by side with the G4 OLED – that I have at home – and the differences were clear to see.
The colors were much more natural on the G5 and apparently lacked as much refinement when the same piece of content could be seen on the two screens. It is also a much brighter Helliluva, which helps to facilitate an even more important contrast, especially during the visualization of HDR content.
I thought that the G4 OLED was quite perfect, but the G5 proves that this was no longer the case.
It should also be noted that all the sizes of the G5 OLED, with the exception of the 97 -inch variant, will be shipped both with the thin wall support and a pedestal stand included.
Regarding the LG C5 OLED, he has already won an essential five -star criticism and proves once again that it is one of the best televisions for most people.
