The investigations on Stanford’s head coach, Troy Taylor, found that he had intimidated his staff and mistreated employees, according to ESPN.
More than 20 current and former staff members cooperated with the two investigations which included complaints against Taylor in what is described as hostile and aggressive behavior, as well as personal attacks, according to the report.
Taylor was the subject of an investigation for the first time more than a year ago, which led him to sign a warning letter on February 14 of last year; However, a second investigation ended on July 24.

The two investigations determined that Taylor’s treatment of employees, especially women, was not consistent with Stanford standards, according to ESPN.
The report indicates that the investigators had never met “this level palpable of animosity and disdain” for a university compliance office, said ESPN.
In the warning letter, Taylor would have written that he knew he could be dismissed if the conduct continued; The second survey included other complaints, but it remains at work.

“I gladly respected myself the surveys, I accepted the recommendations that came out of it and I used them as a learning opportunity to grow in leadership and how I interact with others,” Taylor said in a statement published by the school. “I can’t wait to continue working in collaboration and collegiately with my colleagues so that we can succeed together for our football program.”
A press release from a university spokesperson said: “Stanford believes in respecting the highest behavior standards in the workplace.”
“The University received complaints concerning coach Taylor and a third party investigated the question thoroughly. Last summer, the university took the appropriate measures, the Taylor coach was a coach and he is committed to feeding the respectful work environment which is essential to the success of all our athletics programs.”
