Rawalpindi:
The security forces killed 10 terrorists in an intelligence operation (IBO) in the District of Dera Ismail Khan, while an army officer adopted martyrdom while directing the troops of the front, said inter-service public relations (ISPR) on Thursday.
“On March 20, the security forces conducted an information based on information in the District of Dera Ismail Khan on the indicated presence of Khwarij,” the ISPR said in a press release, while referring to the terrorists belonging to the Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
“During the conduct of the operation, the own troops, after having furtively surrounded the location of Khwarij, actually hired them and, consequently, the ten Khwarij were sent to hell,” said the ISPR, the media wing of the army.
“However, during the intense fire exchange, Captain Hasnain Akhtar (age: 24, resident of the Jhelum district), who directed his troops by the front, having fought valiantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat,” he added.
The ISPR said that Captain of Shaheed Husnain was a courageous officer, renowned for his courage and daring and daring during the previous operations.
“During the operation, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from Khwarij killed, which has been actively involved in many terrorist activities against law enforcement organizations as well as the target murder of innocent civilians,” the press release said.
A disinfection operation was carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the region, said the ISPR, adding that Pakistan security forces were determined to destroy the country’s terrorism threat and that “such sacrifices of our brave young officers further strengthen our resolution”.
