- HP unveiled HP Go, an ESIM Multi-Porte-Lignes zero-Touche solution
- Initially available in the United States, with a global deployment to start at the end of 2026
- Multi-Portic support with T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon
HP announced an ESIM Multi-Portic ESIM solution Zero Touch, designed to keep the professionals connected on the go.
Launch in spring 2025, HP Go seems to eliminate the need for a physical sim card and manual activation with preloaded carrier profiles to ensure instant connectivity from the moment a device is started.
HP Go is not an ESIM for international trips and is only available in the United States, with the intention of deploying around the world at the end of 2026-when launching, it will support multi-porters, including T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon allowing an automatic passage to the strongest available network.
Decline of physical sim cards
As remote work and hybrid becomes the standard, the technological brands that exploit the ESIM growing market suggest the end of the traditional use of physical SIM cards. At the same time, we have seen global expeditions of volume ESIM exceeding half a billion units.
With HP Go, users will receive an ESIM profile preloaded factory settings which is ready to use when they turn on their devices and the Windows configuration is finished. This zero-touch deployment reduces its complexity and time. IT administrators can also monitor remote devices, control access and analyze data consumption in real time – reducing security risks and hidden costs for businesses.
If you change locations while working on your HP Go PC, it will automatically go from Wi-Fi to 5G and connect to the strongest carrier in the region.
The HP Go Esim will make its debut on the HP Elitebook 6 G1Q Next Gen AI PC, with additional compatibility of the device planned for the end of 2025.
