Inverted mixer cement after fatal accident

People set on fire a cement mixer and attacked other heavy vehicles in Gulistan-E-Johar after a biker was crushed under a cement vehicle on Thursday evening.

Three people died in separate accidents involving heavy vehicles in Liaquatabad, Gulistan-E-Johar and Keamari in an hour, between Thursday evening and Friday.

In Gulistan-E-Johar, a concrete mixer crossed a motorcycle near Perfume Chowk, killing Abdul Saboor, 25, and injuring another person, Shayan. Eyewitness reported that the victims fell when their motorcycle had been affected by a mini-duties, the runners ska on the road when a cement mixer rolled on one of them from Crusshing Abdul Saboor under his heavy tires. The driver tried to flee but was taken by the inhabitants and placed in police custody by the police. The driver and the vehicle were transferred to the Sharae Faisal police station.

After the incident, rabid citizens arrested another mixer, forced the driver to go out and set it on fire. They also trampled stones in trucks and other heavy vehicles that rush on the road. Police closed the road to Johar Chowrangi to Johar Morr for traffic due to hustle and bustle.

In Liaquatabad, a 22 -wheeled trailer collided with a motorcycle near the Sindh government hospital, leading to the death of Haider Ali Qureshi, 45, who returned home after work when the trailer overthrew. Police arrested the driver of the trailer and the victim’s body was transferred to Abbasi Shaheed (ASH) hospital. In addition, in Keamari, a motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a vehicle near the minibus W-11 minibus stop. The deceased was identified as Naeem, 45, and his body was transferred to the civil hospital.
