Rawalpindi:
A revelation on the false verification inspectors and the false inspection officers making unauthorized checks in matrix examination centers – and would facilitate cheating – alarmed the educational authorities of Punjab.
The Higher Education Commission of Punjab has taken note of increasing complaints concerning these impostors.
In response, a circular has been issued to all the presidents of the board of directors, examination controllers, central expenses and vigilance staff, declaring that no additional inspector or auditor has been officially appointed. All the alleged letters of authority used to justify their presence in the examination centers have been declared false, and the authorities were responsible for arresting and depositing FIR against any person trying to enter a exam center using such documents.
Annual matrix examinations started on March 4 and, with most of the items finished, the revelation on fraudulent inspectors occurred 16 days after the exams start.
These impostors, armed with false letters of authority issued by the government, carried out not only false inspections, but would also help students cheating.
The working group on the chief minister of Punjab also took the issue remarkable.
It has been ordered that no unauthorized person is authorized to enter the examination centers during the ongoing theoretical exams and practices. In addition, students, invigitors and surveillance agents are prohibited from transporting mobile phones inside the examination rooms.
According to sources in various examination centers, strict measures have now been put in place to eliminate the use of false letters of authority.
To move forward, no one will be allowed to enter such documents, and anyone who tries to do so will be handcuffed and placed in police custody.
