- There is a new update for the Philips Hue application which adds the management of QR codes
- The digitization codes on the lights allows you to add them more easily to the parts of the application
- You can also use QR codes to add switches, cameras and other devices
Philips Hue bulbs and lamps are among the best intelligent lights in the world, and they are already quite easy to install; But a new application update has made things even easier, allowing you to add several lights to one room at a time.
Once you have installed the Version 5.38 application, which is available now for Android and iOS, you can simply scan the QR codes on several Hue devices to add them to the application, rather than making them one at a time.
This should be practical if you have made follies on a new set of intelligent bulbs in the Spring Amazon sale, and will reduce the headache if you move the house and you have to replace everything.
The editor -in -chief of Hueblog.com has already experienced by adding a sealing to their configuration (undoubtedly extended), and reports that it works perfectly.
If the device you want to add does not have a QR code, you can bypass the new option by pressing the “No QR Code” button, and the application will find it for the old -fashioned manner, you allow it to be allocated to a part.
Still not ai
This is a useful addition to the Philips Hue application, but we are still waiting for the main software update that will add the AI generator assistant which means (the company behind Philips Hue) promised in January.
According to meaning, the assistant can create “personalized lighting scenes based on mood, occasion or style”, and will allow you to use a natural language to describe what you want rather than using a photo as a starting point or choosing shades in a chromatic wheel.
The company has not announced when the new tool will arrive, but it should be available before the end of the year – let’s hope it in time to allow you to describe your perfect festive lighting, and that all your lights adapt automatically. I dream of a brilliant Christmas.
