Ayo Edebiri, despite a successful acting career, recalled what she liked the most.
The 29 -year -old began her career as an actress and a standing writer before she drew celebrity with the grace of her role as chief Sydney in The bear.
In a frank conversation with Magazine WEdebiri has admitted that even if she is a prosperous actress, she still fails to do stand-up.
“I fail to do the stand-up. I love the stand-up. I think it’s like my first love,” she shared.
THE Inside out 2 Star continued: “I get bored sometimes. And I love live performance. I love the film and I love television, but there is something to be in a space with people and play with energy.”
“No night is the same, no set is the same. You can tell the same joke and it will be completely different from an hour of intervals, just depending on who is in the room,” she explained.
However, Edebiri explained that being a standing actor simply does not go well with an actress because she wants to be known for her characters rather than for opinions.
“When you are like a woman who thinks or has opinions, it is a very specific thing and I think that does not understand the actresses, for the better or for the worse”, the Stockings Star mentioned.
“It prevents people from seeing you as anyone when they know your thoughts and I think it’s something that was very fascinating for me to sail,” concluded Ayo Edebiri.
