Gmail “the most relevant”
“With this update, the emails you are looking for are much more likely to be at the top of your search results – avoiding helping you find important information more easily,” wrote the company in a blog article announcing the news.
Users will always be able to look for the most recent results, Gmail adding a rocking to switch between the “most relevant” and “the most recent” results, depending on how they like to search.
Google says that this decision can help reduce research time, identifying the information that people are looking for more quickly and more precisely.
The functionality is now deployed on Google Personnel accounts around the world, and will be available on the Gmail application for Android and iOS, professional users also ready to receive the functionality soon.
