The list of causes of a bench from the High Court of Lahore (LHC), which was to hear the bonding on bail of the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, in the eight riots of May 9, was removed. A division bench including judge Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi and Judge Tariq Saleem Sheikh had to hear the Pleidoyers.
In his pleadings, he argued that he was under the care of Nab in Islamabad on May 9 when the riot incidents broke out.
Imran said he was involved in “politically manufactured and motivated cases” simply to humiliate and embarrass him.
