In a new turn of the kidnapping and murder of Mustafa Amir, investigation, survey, underlined a possible involvement of the police in horrible crime.
Sources have confirmed that the investigation into the main accused links of Armughan Qureshi with the police led the investigators to his association with the Investigation Agent (IO) Nadeem, who was used by Ps Gizri. Although he was interviewed during the investigation, Io Nadeem was then rid of any misconduct.
Moreover details of the investigation suggest that, following the registration of a case against Armughan to PS Gizri, he would have transferred a sum of money specified to Io Nadeem via the Rahim bank account, a suspect employee. Investigators have currently surveyed on the grounds of this transaction.
Investigators discovered a disturbing incident from January, while Armughan would have physically attacked a woman. According to information, the suspect subsequently called an unidentified officer in the Southern District Police, requesting the arrest of the victim and the filing of a case made against him. However, police files indicate that no measure has been taken on this request.
Retracting the confessional declaration
Armughan, again deceived the police by denying the allegations concerning the case. He promised to make a denominational declaration in the morning, but when he was presented before the judicial magistrate, he denied. The court pointed out that the mental state of Armughan was not suitable for the registration of a denominational declaration, because it had previously admitted the crime, but then withdrew his declaration.
