Islamabad:
Seven independent electricity producers (IPPS) and the Central Electricity Purchase Agency (CPPA) asked the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) for revision in their price. The Nepra, the country’s electricity regulator, will hold an audience at the request of the PPI today.
The petition was subjected by Nishat Chunian Power, Nishat Power, Narowal Energy Limited, Liberty Power Tech Limited, Engro Powergen Qadirp Limited, Sapphire Electric Power Limited and Saif Power Limited.
The audience will examine the adjustment mechanism for the exchange rate difference between the roupire and the dollar.
