Lahore and several cities in Punjab have a gradual increase in temperatures as the drought period continues, according to the Pakistan meteorological department (PMD).

Lahore recorded a temperature of 16 ° C with 73%humidity levels. Diurnal summits should be between 16 ° C and 18 ° C in the coming days. The city will remain mainly sunny, with a partial cloud cover in the middle of the week.

Other cities in Punjab have also reported an increase in temperatures. Bahawalpur, Multan, Sargodha and Faisalabad should remain sunny, with temperatures oscillating between 14 ° C and 20 ° C.

Meanwhile, the cities of northern Punjab, including Mrier, Chakwal and Rawalpindi, can see thunderstorms and rains dispersed in the middle of the week.

Despite the evolution of weather conditions in certain regions, no significant precipitation is expected in Lahore. The city will remain dry, with hot days and slightly cooler nights.

Meteorological managers advise residents to prepare for a gradual increase in temperatures, indicating an early passage to summer.

Meanwhile, the PMD provides for a warm and dry time in Karachi for the following 24 hours, with temperatures which should vary between 35 ° C and 37 ° C.

The ministry said that the light winds in the northwest will continue to blow, contributing to dry conditions.

The level of humidity in the city is currently around 52% and no significant change in wind speed is expected.

In the past 24 hours, the minimum Karachi temperature has been recorded at 21.7 ° C, while time has remained relatively soft.

The meteorological authorities advised the public to remain hydrated and take precautions to avoid heat-related diseases, especially in the afternoon when heat should culminate.
