- RTX 5060 Ti should be “published” on April 16, a new rumor insists
- Another rumor supports the theory of what is a date of sale for the GPU
- It seems that we will have to wait until May for RTX 5060 vanilla to hit the shelves, however
We have an supposed release date for RTX 5060 TI graphics cards in NVIDIA, the rumor mill offering a date of April 16.
This comes from the WXNOD leak, which appears from time to time in the rumors on X, and has provided correct information in the past (although we must, of course, remain very cautious here).
5060ti will be released on April 16 at 9 p.m., as well as 8 GB and 16 GBMarch 22, 2025
As you can see in the post above, the assertion is that the RTX 5060 TI will be “published” on April 16 at 9 p.m. (I will return to the wording here and at the delay of the time mentioned, shortly). And as the vine has insisted for a long time now, we are told that this GPU will be available in flavors of 8 GB and 16 GB, and these two versions will be released that day in mid-April.
This is aligned with other recent chattering on the RTX 5060 Ti which said exactly that, that these GPUs should be due in mid-April.
These past rumors also theorize that her little brother, the RTX 5060 vanilla (with only 8 GB of VRAM), will arrive a month later in mid-May, although WXNOD does not mention this card.
Analysis: Close at hand
If the rumor mill is right, Nvidia has delayed all these RTX 5060 models a few times, perhaps – there were certainly speculation about a launch of March in the past, then to talk about problems that were to be resolved with the GPU chips. With a more coherent chatter now pointing to a launch in the near future, however, it seems that it is now firmly in the cards.
If you question the 21 hour version mentioned by the flight, this is probably due to the fact that the timing of the embargo comes from an Asian source, because as Videocardz points out, this is aligned with what would generally be expected in this regard.
When WXNOD says “released”, I would normally consider this phrasing to indicate a date of sale – graphics cards striking the shelves – but this could also mean the initial launch (or reveal) of the RTX 5060 Ti models in this context.
However, Videocardz also pointed out that HKEPC, a technological site based in Hong Kong, also shared a leak (once again, Add Seasoning) saying that April 16 is in fact the date of sale of RTX 5060 Ti, with an apparently due advertisement.
Be that as it may, these GPUs are apparently now close at hand, and what also supports it is Videocardz who also discovers the alleged final specifications of the RTX 5060 Ti. The GPU will be supposed to operate with 4,608 cuda cores, a basic clock of 2407 MHz and increase to 2572 MHz, with a power use of 180 W.
The key question will be: how much nvidia stock can bring together? If the answer does not turn out to be much, then Team Green could be wise to wait a little longer and accumulate more supply before freeing these graphics cards, which are probably much more popular than the previous Blackwell GPUs because of their affordability. Or risk anger at dissatisfied players who cannot buy the GPU they want …
On the other hand, Nvidia probably feels the heat of AMD now, with the new GPUs of Team Red DNA 4 managing very well and taking up the market share of graphics cards by all accounts. Given that, Team Green may well feel the pressure to get his RTX 5060 Ti cards on the table, so to speak, as soon as possible. Currently, concerning the release of RX 9060, AMD only gave us Q2 delay, which could be as late as June.
