Derik Queen gave Maryland Terrapins Men’s Basketball Program something to applaud Sunday evening when his bank shooting the buzzer won their March Madness match against the Rams of the State of Colorado.
Queen’s Fadeawaway rider gave the terraaps the 72-71 victory as the time expired. This is the first time that the terraaps have arrived at Sweet 16 since 2016 and the first time under the head coach Kevin Willard.

The journey on the way to the left side of the ground and the pro Hop which followed gave Queen the best opportunity to put the ball in the basket. However, the step in the way has become a source of controversy on social networks.
Collegial basketball fans thought Queen was doing with a walk.
Queen had 17 points in victory.
“When the coach wrote the game, he trusted me and my teammates trusted me,” said Queen. “I was a little nervous, but I had to one, and I had to do that.”

Willard said the Queen wanted the ball and attracted a game for him.
“Sometimes you can get something for a guy who may not want basketball,” said Willard. “So, once he said that, it was a fairly simple decision, and I could see everyone’s body language a little go up a little, because it was so confident that he wanted basketball.
“It was just a simple zipper: give him the basketball and let him go to work.”

Maryland No. 4 will now play n ° 1 in Florida in the West Regional Semi-final. The match is scheduled for Thursday evening, temporarily at 7:39 pm HE.
