- Disney + finally allows you to delete the articles from your list to “continue to watch”
- The streaming service says that this is a “eagerly awaited world update”
- It takes place first for the Apple TV and iOS, with more platforms arriving in the coming weeks
I broadcast a lot of content on Disney +, whether it is a rewatch of original film Dcom, one of the original programs like Dream productionsOr to watch a classic film – but I also sometimes rest in the middle of a television episode or a film. And this leads to a fairly excited list under “Continue to watch” which is not in a particular order.
It also means that when I start a new show – maybe the last of Marvel – and eventually hate it, he unfortunately remains. But this will not be the case for a long time – Disney + responds to our collective prayers and will allow us to modify the list to delete this show.
This unfortunate flow will soon be nothing but a bad memory and will not haunt your new streaming content efforts.
The streaming giant said it was a “highly anticipated world update”, and that it is starting to take place now on a multitude of platforms, including television and mobile. In other words, it is one of the best changes in recent history of one of the best streaming services in the world.
It takes place on Apple TV and iOS at the start, with other platforms after in the coming weeks. And here is the best news: it’s super easy to start with the deletion of the content of your observation list. This means that you will not be stuck any longer with this film that you ended up hating after five minutes.
There are four ways to delete the contents of your “ continuing the surveillance list ”
Disney + has designed two ways to delete the content of this self-peopled monitoring list, so decompos the first.
When you are on the home page of the mobile streamer application and you see your bar “ keep watching ”, you can simply navigate towards and select the program or the film and select the three points next to the name. From there, you press “Remove” to see it disappear. This applies to all of your profile in your Disney +account.
If you are on the web, you will fly over the title and see the option of deleting – a circle with a line in the middle, like the equator – appear – simply press this, and it will be deleted.
On the TV, since you cannot just touch it, you will access the title in the bar and press it to reveal the deletion function. He will ask you to confirm if you wish to delete the title from the list, and you can approve the action.
Alternatively, if you are on the details of the television show or the film and it is in your `continuation of Watchlist ”, you will see the icon delete next to play / start, resume or save at the end. You can simply select this icon to delete it from the list.
Disney + has certainly facilitated the task and deployed several ways to accomplish it. The only hope is that people without a iOS or Apple TV 4K apparatus will soon receive updates on their different platforms.

In the press release announcing the change, Disney + also explains that if you see content on your surveillance list that you do not remember playing, it may appear if you share your account with someone else using the same profile. Remember that with a single Disney +account, you can create up to seven profiles. Of course, this could also be a reminder of the people who shared your account before Disney + and other streaming services start to sequence the account sharing.
Even so, this is excellent news. This will finally allow you to clean your “ continuing from Watchlist ” without having to watch all the content or simply start other programs and films in the hope of pushing other contents further.
This should save us from many headaches, and hope that other highly requested features will arrive that allow us to draw even more Disney +.
No more that, please, Disney!
