The Pakistan Competition Committee (CCP) approved a joint venture between Fly Jinnah Services (PVT) LTD and Air Arabia Academy LLC to establish a new aeronautical training institute in the country.
The new entity, Fly Jinnah T3 Flight Academy (PVT) LTD, will provide aeronautical training services in Pakistan. Approval follows a pre-fusion examination under the 2016 competition in competition (mergers control).
The two companies will invest in the new company, which aims to improve aeronautical training services in Pakistan.
The PCC said that the transaction is international and has no impact on competition in the sector.
Fly Jinnah works as a commercial airline, while Arabia Academy air is engaged in water aviation training.
The Independent Training Institute should improve both the availability and quality of aeronautical training services in Pakistan.
