Islamabad:
The Cabinet Committee On Privatization (CCOP) approved on Tuesday an accelerated plan for the privatization of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation (Piacl), including the disinvestment of 51 to 100% of share capital as well as control of management.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, chaired the committee meeting, said a statement published by the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Deputy Prime Minister underlined the government’s commitment to the privatization of Piac to unlock its full potential.
