The Star of the Celtics Jayson Tatum seems to avoid serious injuries

The Boston Celtics have already won a place in the playoff series and entered the second best record of the East Conference on Tuesday.

The reigning champions extended their six -game victories sequence on Monday when they beat the Sacramento Kings.

But the coaches and fans of the Celtics held their collective breath in the third quarter when the star striker Jayson Tatum held his ankle while he was lying on the ground.

Tatum had just overthrew a 3 -point pointer disputed when he seemed to land on the foot of the Kings Center Domantas Sabonis. The big man of the Kings was evaluated a blatant fault.

While Tatum was obviously in pain in the moments who followed the fault, the head coach of the Celtics Joe Mazzulla suggested that the six-time NBA All-Star avoided a serious injury.

“He seems to be fine,” said Mazzulla. “I didn’t see the play, but they made the right one. Happy that he was able to draw free throws. [He’s] taking care now. “Tatum did one of his two attempts to throw frank before retiring from the game.

Tatum directed the Celtics in points before being forced to make an early trip in the locker room. He made the trip without the help of team training staff. His night ended with 25 points, and he told ESPN that his ankle was “just painful”.

Tatum added that the team plans to “be careful”.

Sabonis then apologized to Tatum.

“I feel horrible,” Sabonis told journalists. “I myself had a crazy month myself, personally, and you never want it to happen. So, I apologize.”

Sabonis can relate to Tatum. The Kings Center recently treated an ankle injury. Triple All-Star missed three games before returning to Kings programming on Monday.
