Long sport in which celebrations of practically all kinds would result in a quick level ball, baseball has adapted to “let the children play”, at least more often than in the past.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. is one of the young stars of the league fear of being flashy, which goes against many unwritten rules of baseball.
The New York Yankees Championship player embarks on a celebration of Eurostep inspired by basketball when he touches marble after each home run, and it is not uncommon to see his hat tilted a bit.

But that did not stop Chisholm, which is not shy at the idea of adding non -uniform chains and colors to its look, criticism.
And it seemed to be unlikely that it felt that it is because of its skin color.
“I don’t want to say that. Baseball is a white sport. I have the impression that whites criticize everything a black man is doing. Black men are frank. They say what is in the lead,” he told The Athletic.
“The unwritten Baseball rules are white. And I have always violated the unwritten rules of baseball.”
When Chisholm made his MLB debut with the Miami Marlins in 2020, he wasted no time showing his flair with personalized crampons. But the longtime veteran of the MLB, Miguel Rojas, cut a pair with scissors and spoiled another by pouring milk.

It may be the recruit hazing, or maybe Rojas sent a message. It is probably a combination of the two, but it is not a secret chisholm and Rojas does not get along. It is not a secret either that Chisholm was happy to be exchanged from Miami to Bronx last year.
“No one would ever cut my crampons or throw my things if I was white,” said Chisholm. “I’m going to tell you right away, if they were stuff from a white boy, you are not going to cut this s — because if a white boy will complain, now everyone has — éd. I’m going to complain, and it’s not so serious. It is:” Let’s try to find a solution for that. “But if a white boy will complain, nah, f — that.”

Only 6% of players on the lists of the opening day last year were black, the lowest figure since 1991. The percentage of black players in the League has not been two figures since 2008, and the figure varied from 17 to 19% 1973 to 1988.
