Zayn Malik paid his old group an emotional tribute to the 10th anniversary of its release during a concert.
The singer, 32, left his fans surprised when he opened his show with closed counters with Night changes—The last single Zayn never recorded with his A direction Group comrades Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Harry Styles.
At some point in his emotional tribute, the former One Directat even found himself tearing himself apart.
“This is the first time that I sing this song in 10 years. Thank you, it was incredible, I almost cried at some point,” Zayn told the crowd.
Zayn was the first to leave the boyband when he announced his departure on March 25, 2015.
He said at the time that he wanted to “relax” and live the life of a 22 -year -old normal man. However, he later revealed that there was no more reason to leave the group.
In 2023, Zayn said Calls his daddy Podcast host that the group was just “sick” with each other at that time and he decided to go out first.
The recent tribute comes from months after the tragic death of Liam Payne on October 16 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina.
