FO Slams of “selective” critical experts

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Wednesday that Pakistan would protect the life and security of its people, especially in the fields where innocent civilians brought the weight of terrorism sponsored by foreigners and pursued policies aimed at promoting social and economic development for all segments of society. The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the measures taken in this regard by the Pakistani government were fully in line with international law, which categorically prohibited incentive to violence and terrorism.

"There can be tolerance, and even less impunity, terrorists, their facilitators or their accomplices," The spokesman said, in response to questions about the declaration of United Nations Human Rights Experts. "Their abuse of law and human rights violations cannot be ignored."

In a statement published earlier in the day, a group of independent human rights experts affiliated to the UN called on the Pakistani government to release Balouth rights activists detained after recent demonstrations and to slow down its repression against demonstrations against forced disappearances and other questions.

"We have followed with increasing concerns of alleged arrest reports and forced disappearances of baloutque activists in recent months, and violent incidents in recent days have considerably increased our concerns," They said in the joint declaration. The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the comments of the United Nations experts lacked balance and proportionality, minimized the civilian victims inflicted on the terrorist and ignored the crimes committed by disbelievers who deliberately agitated insecurity.

"We have taken note of the press release published by certain UN experts, which seems to be based on selective and unaccompanied media reports," The spokesman said, stressing that public statements of this nature must adhere to the principles of objectivity and recognize the full context of the situation.

"Any credible assessment must recognize that these elements are not simple demonstrators but participants active in a broader campaign of anarchy and violence," He said. "Their abuse of law and human rights violations cannot be ignored," He added. The spokesman said that hiding behind an alleged grievance facade, these elements operated in collusion with terrorists, who were obvious from their coordinated efforts to hinder state responses, including synchronized roadblocks facilitating terrorist attacks.

"The last proof of this link was their illegal plate from Quetta’s district hospital, where they forcefully seized the bodies of five terrorists eliminated during the hostage rescue operation of Jaffar Express."
