The ESPN star, Stephen A. Smtih, raised his quarrel with LeBron James at the next level on Thursday, repelling once again on the concept that he was never personal with the star of Los Angeles Lakers.
Smith said on “First Take” in a 15-minute soliloquer that James “lied” during his interview with Pat McAfee and that he only talked about his son, Bonny James, in terms of basketball. Smith then exercised all the personal remarks he could have said about James, going back to the death of Kobe Bryant in 2020 and the commemorative service which occurred later.

“If LeBron James wants to see me continue to cover this sport, or if he wants to have a problem with me by continuing to cover this sport, I suggest that it is satisfied with the things I have not mentioned,” he said. “I never really mentioned and I never really discussed the reason why you were not in the commemorative service of Kobe Bryant. I never really mentioned or discussed why you had not attended the induction of the renown temple of Dwyane Wade when this man was directly responsible for capturing a championship for the first time in your career.
“I did not do anything of all this. I did not mention the fact that even if, when people had asked him, you had alluded to what had tragically happened to your son, and, thank God, he agrees with his heart disease, I did not mention that even if you could not go to the renowned temple of Dwyane Wade of weeks later, weeks earlier than you were out of the country.
“I have not mentioned this. It is your personal business. But the fact is that you were not at the temple of the fame of a brother who will radically help you to be a temple of fame because he helped you to become a champion that you are, and he was a big brother for you.

The Los Angeles Times reported in February 2020 that James was in the public of the Memorial in Bryant. We then asked James why he kept a discreet profile during the event. He said he was an emotional wreck, according to Essence.
Smith also challenged James publishing a former broadcaster boxing clip during a training session. The Instagram post came after Smith said that he would have “swung” James if he put his hands.
“The day after (the interview with McAfee), what is he doing? He puts a page on me and all these other things ten years ago with two torn rotator wrists. Very well, no problem. It’s a very, very embarrassing video. I would be the first to say …
“So, we get out of it. Why do I lift this? Because it has it become mean? You are LeBron James, are you how much about the things I say that you would publish this video? When LeBron James already did something like that?”
Smith wondered why James was “in his feelings” and theorized that it was because he does not believe that he will go beyond Michael Jordan as the biggest basketball player of all time.
James helped the Lakers to a victory over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday evening.
