Currently, Buckingham Palace reports that the monarch has been transported urgently to the hospital and an update has also arisen.
According to the publication, the reason for his precipitated visit was a “temporary side effect” which he suffered because of his current chemotherapy treatments.
It is relevant to mention that this has led him to withdraw from all the treatments scheduled for Friday.
The official declaration says: “After a planned medical treatment and in progress for cancer this morning, the king experienced temporary side effects which required a short period of observation in the hospital.”
“His Majesty’s afternoon commitments were therefore postponed.”
They also added that “His Majesty has now returned to Clarence House and that as a precautionary measure, acting on medical advice, the program of the newspaper of tomorrow will also be reprogrammed”.
Before signing the ad, “His Majesty would like to send his apologies to all those who can be embarrassed or disappointed accordingly.”
Before that, the king welcomed a collection of more than 400 guests from The News and Journalism Sphere through the United Kingdom.
There, they addressed the “crucial role that local journalism plays in the construction of confidence and the promotion of community cohesion”.
