The French State Bank Bpifrance provides $ 27 million in investment in digital assets

Bpifrance, a French state investment bank, plans to invest 25 million euros ($ 27 million) of digital assets as part of an initiative aimed at strengthening the country’s blockchain industry.

The bank will buy and organize cryptographic tokens linked to tokenization, jalitude and decentralized clearing (DEFI), he said on Thursday.

The plan is that investments support the local blockchain’s local projects in their beginnings for the improvement of the broader blockchain industry in France

“Having the ability to invest directly in digital assets is a significant step forward for Bpifrance and a pioneering initiative among sovereign funds,” said the bank.

France has become a center of crypto emerging in 2022 while it sought to pre-empt the introduction of the markets of the European Union markets in cryptographic assets (MICA) and tried a number of eminent cryptocurrency companies to make the country their European basis.
