MUFASA: The Lion King (Disney +)

The last King of lion The live adaptation arrived on Disney + if you are looking for an escape from the jungle this weekend. He divided criticism with a rotten tomato score a 56%division, which is in fact superior to its 2019 predecessor which only marked 51%. The fans were therefore more in love with this one, which focuses on the story of Mufasa while he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka, heir to a royal line.

With Breakup Season 2 firmly in the rear view mirror, Apple needs another scandalously shiny television original to fill the void. While Surface Season 2 and Dope thief worth watching, it is The studio that I recommend as the next essential program on Apple TV +.
A series of intelligent creaky comedy that does not retain its satirical point of view of Hollywood and the entertainment industry more broadly, The studio is an absolute riot. Seth Rogen embodies Matt Remick, the newly appointed CEO of the Continental Studios fictional fiction company, whose attempts to save the business that was driving, leads to all kinds of moments of slapstick, laughs and rich and not so subtle excavations, the La Party and the Hollywood machine.
With high level performance of its support distribution, notably Kathryn Hahn and Catherine O’Hara, as well as a whole multitude of appearances in Cameo – Martin Scorsese and the CEO of Netflix Ted Sarandos are in it, for the love of God! – The studio is absolutely essential. Easily one of the best Apple TV + emissions of all time. – TP

Who else waited with enthusiasm to see Timothée Chalamet’s point of view on the emblematic role of the singer-songwriter Bob Dylan? Although he did not win a single Oscar after being nominated for eight at the 97th Academy Awards, A complete unknown There remains one of the outings at the box office most acclaimed by criticism in the past year and will undoubtedly be one of the best Hulu films once the public will have the chance to broadcast it this weekend.
Located in the early 1960s, the Docudrame followed the rise of Dylan in New York under the mentoring of Pete Seeger (Edward Norton) and offers a new dramatization of the life of the musician, including his relationship with his other singer-songwriter Joan Baez (Monica Barbaro). Holland (first -rate video)

After the Netflix series led by Nicole Kidman The perfect couple disappointed me recently, I really hope Holland will be a return to form for the emblematic actress. The intrigue is intriguing enough, but with a 30% rotten score of the tomatoes of criticism, there is a real chance that I will be disappointed again when I watch it this weekend. That said, criticism scores do not guarantee that the public will hate it too, so we will have to make our own minds.
There is a big cast here, at least, with Kidman joined by Matthew Macfadyen, Naomi Watts and Bryan Cranston, so the film certainly does not miss the talent. Holland is one to try if you hope that a mystery thriller to get stuck, he is now in difficulty on a first -rate video. Luca Guadagnino’s latest film sees the Italian director in his element. The director has a means with romantic dramas.
Adapted from a novel by William S. Burroughs of the same name, Weird Take place in the 1950s in Mexico City and tells the story of an expatriate relationship (Daniel Craig) with a young student (Drew Starkey). The criticisms have not been taken too much by the new film, which means that it will not be one of the best maximum films, but that does not mean that the public will not like to broadcast another great film A24. – AS
Mobland (Paramount +)

Mobland is another television criminal drama created by the king of the genus Gangster Guy Ritchie and presents a star cast of Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan. In this new Paramount +show, two families of London crimes are fighting for power that threatens to end the empires and ruin lives. Taken in the cross -fires is Harry Da Souza (Hardy), an intelligent “fixer” on the street which is called by the Harrigans to protect their families.
This best permanent potential spectacle will be the perfect alternative while I’m waiting for season 2 of the Success Netflix series from Ritchie Gentlemen And I can’t wait to see his signature violence and his unique characters on the small screen in another gangland saga. – GM
