The new look attracted online mixed reactions after the organization has made drastic changes to one of its long -standing policies last month. Rodon, 32, had a beard with the Giants of San Francisco and the White Sox from Chicago before signing with the Yankees and shaved it.
When the Yankees canceled their facial hair policy during training in the spring, players were allowed to cultivate well -maintained beards. With the missing rule, Rodon, as well as other Yankees, had the beard on the day of opening.

However, fans had different opinions on the first time of Yankees players with the beard for the first time.
“This beard looks great on Carlos Rodon,” said a user on X.
Other fans were not so kind to the launcher starting from the Yankees. “Carlos Rodon looks terrible – the protruding beard – in his thin stripes before the crowd of the Yankee stadium. Very disrespectful,” posted a fan on X.
“Do not be an old man because I didn’t think I was going to worry about it, but seeing Carlos Rodon on the mound in thin stripes with a beard drives me crazy,” posted another fan on social networks.
Rodon won the victory, when he launched 5.1 rounds and granted only one point on four strokes and two steps when he withdrew seven brewers’ strikers.

Some fans have equaled Rodon’s high performance with its beard.
“Very excited for a full year of Carlos Rodon Barbu with this knotty cursor and this new change,” said a user to X.
“Carlos Rodon can be who benefits the most from the new Yankees policy,” published another fan on social networks.
During the two seasons before before Rodon signed with the Yankees, he made the star team for two years and launched 2.63 out of 310.2 innings with the Giants and the White Sox. His first two years with the Yankees, without the beard, were not as productive for Rodon.
