The temple of basketball renown Charles Barkley weighed on the quarrel between the Expert ESPN Stephen A. Smith and the star of Los Angeles Lakers Lebron James during a radio appearance on Friday.
Smith and James exchanged beards in appearances with the separate media throughout the week. Barkley analyzed the War of Words during an appearance in “The Dan Patrick Show”. He said Smith and James had very bad weeks.
“They both had a terrible week,” he said. “LeBron, it is too big to be this type of intimidator. To intimidate Stephen A. And to intimidate Brian Windhorst … Brian Windhorst, he is a sweet person, guy. He just tries to do his thing. And I always liked Lebron, but being an intimidator, that died.

“There are only losers in this scenario. You have obtained the biggest star in the game, you probably got the biggest star on television and they both look bad. And what bothers me the most is that they are both good guys. I don’t mind people who are a hole hole. I don’t know what he was trying to do.

Smith had to withdraw a remark that he made about James Assistant at the Kobe Bryant Memorial. Smith said James was not there when he was at the February 2020 event. James was just out of the spotlight.
“My apologies and my clarifications. I am going badly at @FIRSTTAKE hour 1 today when I suggested that LeBron did not attend the Kobe Bryant memorial. I corrected myself at time 2 when I recognized that he was present,” he wrote on X.
