WhatsApp is working on feature that will allow users to add and manage multiple user accounts without changing the device or rely on WhatsApp company.
This new feature will be available in future update, Wabetainfo Reported, citing the latest WhatsApp update for the iOS 25.9.10.70 update, which is available on the Testflight application
The new functionality of the Instant Meta Popular Messaging Application will allow users to add a second account directly from the application settings. An important aspect of this update is that WhatsApp could rethink the parameter page to accommodate this new feature.
In addition, users will see their profile photo displayed in the parameter tab bar once they add a second account, which allows them to differentiate the accounts.
WhatsApp is working on two main methods to add a second account. The first option will allow users to configure the second account as a new profile by registering with a phone number.
The second option will allow users to link a new account by scanning a QR code from their main device.

The new multi-account feature will guarantee that the parameters of each account remain independent, eliminating any potential confusion.
For example, notifications, backups, media settings for automatic download and other preferences will be unique for each account, helping users to maintain a clear distinction between personal and professional profiles.
This separation allows tailor -made experiences with separate tones and alert parameters for each account.
At this point, WhatsApp is still working on the fine setting of these features to guarantee smooth performance between devices and accounts, including optimization of the synchronization process, ensuring that profile changes, messages and notifications are transparently integrated between accounts.
However, an exact launch date for the new feature has not yet been announced.
