Kotri:
Two suspects involved in a case of mistreatment and video recording of two minor sisters were arrested by the police.
Zakir Ali Yousufzai had submitted a file to the Kotri police station, alleging that his sisters, Alishah, 11 and Alina, 10, were raped by their neighbor, Sultan Pathan, who also recorded a video of the incident.
Jamshoro SSP held a press conference at his office to announce the suspect’s arrest and provide details on the investigation. He said the main suspect, Sultan Pathan was arrested after an investigation into the case.
The SSP also revealed the arrest of the police station on Sho Mazhar Naich site and the telegraph police in post Yaseen Laghari, for their role in the facilitation of the liberation of the suspect. The suspect was released after a 300,000 rupee-bridge was paid.
A more in -depth investigation revealed that a journalist from the private television channel, Muqaddar Baloch, was also involved in the case and will soon be arrested. The SSP expressed its disappointment as to the negligence of police in service and their involvement in taking bribes in the case.
The SSP Jamshoro appointed Zahid Chhatial as a new Sho of the site’s police station.
