Each team that entered the 2005 NCAA male tournament with a seeded will play in the Final Four in San Antonio.

The 20 points by Darrell Arthur led the Jayhawks, while the star goalkeeper Mario Chalmers added 18 points to help the Kansas to a 75-68 victory on Memphis and secure the national title.

More than a year after the appearance of the Tiger Championship match, the NCAA offenses committee announced that Memphis would be forced to leave its 2007-08 record due to rules of the rules.
