Eidul Fitr is celebrated with religious zeal and enthusiasm through Pakistan and in the world.
The small and large congregations of prayers took place in mosques and eidgahs across the country, with a large number of citizens present during Eidul Fitr, according to Express News.
Special prayers have been offered for the security, progress and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah, the country and the nation.
The central congregations for Eid prayers took place at the Mosque Faisal in Islamabad, the Badshahi mosque in Lahore and a polo court in Karachi, where eminent government officials and other political and social figures have also participated.
At the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, the Eid prayers were offered and the Islamabad Inspector General examined the security agreements.
He said more than 2,000 staff members had been deployed for security throughout the city, with 500 agents assigned to traffic.
Eid prayers have also taken place in major cities such as Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mardan, Sibi, Murree, Gilgit, Sargodha, Bahawalpur and Jhang, where millions of people participated.
MUFTI MUNIB UR REHMAN invited Karachi residents to join Eidga HEDGAH, where he led the prayers. Eid prayers were also offered at the Governor’s house in Karachi at 7 a.m., with the Governor of Sindh and other key personalities.
In Polo Ground, Karachi, prayers were offered in the presence of the mayor of Karachi and other important personalities. In Nizamabad Eidgah Ground, Mufti Taqi Usmani led the prayers of Eid, and Jamaat-E-Islami Pakistan Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman also offered prayers there.
In Karachi, more than 4,000 young and large prayer gatherings of Eid took place, millions of Muslims met to offer Eid prayer.
In Lahore, like other regions, Eid prayers took place in Bagh Jinnah, while Eid prayers were also offered to the Subil Wali mosque in the Karachi guru.
After the prayers, people exchanged Eid’s greetings by kissing. Many then visited the graves of their deceased relatives and gave them prayers.
In Karachi, great congregations for Eid prayers took place in various mosques such as the new Mosque Memon, the Jinnah mosque and many others.
