Trendments were reported in the Barkhan district, Balutchistan, early Tuesday, just hours after Karachi was shaken by an earthquake.

The earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.9, struck at a depth of 12 kilometers, according to the US Geological Survey. The epicenter was located 59 kilometers northwest of Barkhan.
The authorities monitor the situation, although no significant effect has been noted to date.
Earlier, a moderate earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 hit parties of Karachi and its surroundings on Monday afternoon, according to a statement from the Met Office.
According to the earthquake monitoring center, the earthquake recorded an amplitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 19 kilometers. The epicenter of the earthquake would have been 75 kilometers north of Karachi.
The tremors felt at 4:11 p.m., many residents presenting themselves on social networks to share their experiences. However, there was no immediate report of damage or victims of the earthquake.
