Three months ago, Samsung teased us for first an overview of the Edge Galaxy S25 super thin phone, and it seems that in the coming days, we will get all the details on this phone – and have the opportunity to go out and buy it.
According to Tipster @ chunvn8888 (via GSMARENA), the phone will indeed be officially released in April. The other Samsung Galaxy S25 phones were all put for sale shortly after their great unveiling in January of course.
A separate report in Nieuwemobiel.nl (via sambobile) goes even further, identifying on Tuesday April 15 as the big day – either the day Samsung reveals everything on the handset, or the day when it is put up for sale, or both.
We could be a few weeks old to get our hands on this new intriguing device, but will it be worth waiting? Here are five reasons why we think this will be.
1. It will be very thin
In case you have not heard, thin phones have a moment, with the Oppo find N5 the thinnest foldable to date and the iPhone 17 air due before the end of the year. The Galaxy S25 edge should measure only 5.84 mm back and forth, therefore considerably finer in relative terms than the 7.2 mm thickness of the Standard Galaxy S25 handset.

5. He will have a lot of AI on board
