President Asif Ali Zardari was admitted to a private hospital in Karachi after the deterioration of his health.
He was initially brought to Nawabshah hospital following fever complaints and an infection, Express News reported on Tuesday.
According to reports, President Zardari has undergone several medical tests and doctors closely monitor his condition.
Sources of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have confirmed that a team of doctors gave intensive care and treatments to the former president.
Party leaders reassured the public, declaring that President Zardari’s state has improved and is now healthier.
The situation remains under observation and other updates are expected in the coming days, they added.
