The WNBA was confronted with a ridiculous to celebrate the “transgender visibility day” while the question of transgender athletes participating in the sports of girls and women has become a problem with the dog button.
The league posted X on its support for transgender people. This coincided with the last day of the month of women’s history.

“Today and every year on March 31, we observe the transgender visibility day,” said the League. “We honor the strength, courage and resilience of transgender people and the transgender community.
“We see you, we stand with you and we will continue to support you.”
The position triggered reactions from female sports defenders who defended title IX and efforts to keep organic men outside sports for girls and women.

The WNBA position occurred for more than a month after President Donald Trump signed the “No Men’s in Women’s Sports” decree in February. NCAA has changed its gender participation policy, but criticisms stressed gaps.
The Trump administration also clashed with the managers of the Maine school for the refusal of the State to reverse its policy concerning transgender athletes participating in sports for girls and women. The Office of Civil Health and Social Services has referred to the “non-compliance of the State with title IX”.
There are no players in the WNBA who have gone from one man to another. Layshia Clarendon came out non -binary in 2020.
