Minnesota governor Tim Walz expressed a certain hope on the day of opening that it would be the year of twins to find the top of the mountain in the major baseball league.
The former vice-presidential candidate published a photo of him on Target Field in a twin jersey with a baseball glove with the message, “Happy Opening Day, Minnesota! 162-0”. But after this post, Minnesota took a surprisingly bad start.

The Twins lost three games in a row against the Cardinals of Saint-Louis, then dropped 9-0 against the White Sox of Chicago on Monday after the central team of the American League dropped the worst record in the history of baseball last season.
Baseball fans came after Walz while Minnesota fell to 0-4 this year.

Walz has been the Governor of Minnesota since 2019. He was one of those who congratulated Joe Mauer last year after the Grand MLB was elected to the temple of baseball renown.

The twins still have a lot of time to change the season. The fans’ graphics projected the twins to win at least 80 games this season.
Minnesota was ousted from the playoffs in 2023, losing against the Astros of Houston in the American League Division series in four games. The Twins have won the division this season.

The twins have not gone to the World Series since 1991. That year, Jack Morris and Kirby Puckett joined forces to stun the Braves of Atlanta. It was the title of the third World Series in the history of the franchise.
