Micah Parsons is eligible for a contract extension, and its representatives and the Dallas cowboys could soon disturb a new massive agreement for the Rusher All-Pro Pass.
During the apparent negotiations, Jerry Jones seemed to take a hit from Parson’s agent, David Mulugheta.
According to Jones, he spent “five, six hours” to engage directly with Parsons on the terms of a new potential contract. And the longtime owner and managing director of the Cowboys said he was not aware of the name of Mulugheta.

“The agent is not a factor here or something to fear. And I don’t know his name,” said Jones, according to The Athletic. Jones noted that he did not intend to “lower” Mulugheta.
The Browns trade for Deshaun Watson was “Big Swing and Miss,” said the team owner
“And so my point of view is that I am not trying to lower it in any way, but it is not an agent. The agent does not have one thing to do with what we do when we arrive on the football field against a team.

Parsons saw Jones’ comments and responded with a strong demonstration of support in Mulugheta, describing the agent as “the best”.
“Facts !! David is the best and I will not agree without @davidmulugheta involved!” Parsons wrote on X Tuesday. “As anyone who has a good sense, I hired experts for a reason. There is no one in whom I trust more about negotiation contracts than David! There will be no safeguards in this contract negotiation.”
Mulgheta is the president of Team Sports at Athletes First, a complete management company that represents players, coaches, staff and broadcasters. Mulugheta represents dozens of NFL players.
He was at the center of the talks for many notable contracts for his customers, in particular an unprecedented guaranteed contract of Deshaun Watson with the Browns of Cleveland.

Jones praised his negotiation skills when he remembers the previous situations with former star players.
“Frankly, most people who negotiate with me will tell you that it was better than negotiating with someone else, Stephen [Jones] or anyone involved. It is not uncommon. I negotiated directly as far as Emmitt [Smith]Deion [Sanders]. By the way, we have maintained relationships that lasted far beyond their days of play. “
The 2024 season was the last year of the Parsons Recrue Agreement. The Cowboys exercised its fifth year in April 2024, which put it online for an estimated salary at $ 21.324 million in 2025.
Parsons recorded two -digit bags in each of its four NFL seasons. He appeared in 13 games and finished last season with 12 bags.
