Deshaun Watson’s antenna is apparently in place.
Earlier this week, the Cleveland Browns co -owner Jimmy Haslam, has anything but admitted to having regretted having acquired Watson, then preventing it from an agreement of 230 million dollars fully guaranteed.
“We took a big swing and missed with Deshaun. We thought we had the quarter-Arrière. We did not do it, and we abandoned a lot of draft choice to provide it. So we have to get out of this hole,” he told journalists from the annual League meeting in Palm Beach, Florida. “Listen, I said on several occasions, Deshaun Watson was an entire organizational decision, and it ends with (co-owner) Dee (Haslam) and I, so keep us responsible.”

Well, shortly after these hard comments, Watson went to Instagram to show the work he put in his Achilles rehabilitation.
In the social media post, Watson shared 20 photos of his detoxification cure, mainly in the gymnasium working a shirtless in the establishment of the Browns.
“Maybe if I weren’t built for that, I would let it phase …” Writeson.
Watson was suspended to start his mandate in Cleveland and only appeared in six games in 2022. The following season, he was only held at more than six games. He then played only seven games in 2024 after suffering from Achilles in a home game. He broke the Achilles again this year again.
During his last season with the Texans in 2020, he led the NFL in the passing sites. But since then, he has not yet launched for 1,200 in any season. He did not play in 2021.

The Browns have reworked the Watson contract twice since December with years of vacuum added until 2030 to give them a certain financial flexibility to spread dead money on the contract instead of taking massive success in a single season. Watson should be a free agent after the 2026 season.
All signs indicate that Cam Ward goes first in the Tennessee titans, but Sheder Sanders will probably be available for Browns with the second choice. However, they have not shown their hand at all, since Abdul Carter and Travis Hunter will probably also be on the board.

“I think the message is that if the right person is there, we will take it,” said Haslam recently. “Otherwise, we will discover it for a year or two until we get the right person. There are good football players in this project, and we must make sure that we get the right ones for us.”
