The new league would probably aim to support long -term growth in sport, and it could also be supported by certain high -level investors. The tennis icon Serena Williams and her husband and technological entrepreneur Alexis Ohanian, via their 776 investment companies, are in talks with the NFL on the company, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday, citing sources.

The NFL would weigh at least 10 proposals, including TKO Group Holdings, the former co -owner of Milwaukee Bucks, Marc Lasry’s avenue Capital Group and Partners Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz.
TKO is a conglomerate created by Endeavour, which results from the 2023 merger between WWE and UFC.

“It is clear that there is a lot of interest in a Pro Flag League,” said Goodell at a press conference. Goodell also confirmed that the League had received proposals from potential investors.
Goodell also discussed Pro Flag football during the February Super Bowl in New Orleans.
None of the potential interested parties immediately responded to the request for comments from PK Press Club Digital. The information concerning the amount required for an investment in the new potential league has not been made available.
