The American Department of Agriculture announced on Wednesday a break and a continuous examination of federal funding in Maine after the State refused to provide equal chances to women and girls in educational programs.
The state refused to comply with the executive decree of President Donald Trump to ban the trans sports athletes from girls and women, which caused immense federal pressure. Trump initially promised to reduce federal funding to the state if he refused to comply with the order during a speech on February 20.
Now Trump has obtained this promise.

USDA secretary Brooks Rollins said that the state should agree to protect female athletes from transcription before the restoration of funding.
“In order to continue to receive dollars from the USDA taxpayers, the state of Maine must demonstrate respect for title IX which protects athlete students from having to compete with or against or have to appear without clothes before men,” Rollins wrote in a letter to the State.
“In addition, the USDA launched a complete examination of the subsidies granted by the Biden Administration to the Ministry of Education of Maine. Many of these subsidies seem to be useless, redundant or otherwise against the priorities of the Trump administration. The USDA will not represent the Department of Biden Administration, the Bureaucracy and the left social left.”

More potential sanctions could arrive in the state next week.
The United States Ministry of Education sent a letter to the Maine Ministry of Education (MDOE) on Monday by advising a final deadline of April 11 to resolve the problem or risk a second reference to the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of Health and Social Services already referred Maine at Doj Last week.
Wednesday’s announcement is not the first USDA Freeze financing announced concerning Maine.
The Department interrupted the financing of the University of Maine system (UMS), a network of eight public universities in the State, March 11, while it was examining the compliance of the system with title IX.
The funding was restored to UMS a few days later and the USDA announced that the system was in full compliance.
But the major problem involving the inclusion of trans athletes in Maine is secondary. In addition to the incident involving the pole vaulter to Greely High School, other cases had an impact on several girls through the state that had to compete with and share locker room with organic men.

The survey also revealed that 60% of residents would support a voting measure limiting participation In Sports for women and girls at Biological women. This included 64% of the self -employed and 66% of parents with children under the age of 18.
